Dear reader, the most exciting seminar this week for me was the rehearsal of the Pre- School seminar “Child crying – what to do?” Due to our switch to online courses, it was now possible that the experienced daycare center director Jana Benz did not have to come to Berlin for a seminar but could give the course from home. You have to experience it, I would like to warmly recommend this workshop to you if you work with children. My hope that even now in crisis situations children can learn conflict competence and a healthy handling of feelings has been strengthened by this lesson! Besides the first “official” date on 11.8. (in german – please contact us if you are interested in this seminar in English) we already plan to offer longer courses with Jana Benz and Jana Stooff for educators. There will be a day to introduce the work with feelings in Pre-School, with further blocks on the topics of individual counselling, needs, dealing with the group, dealing with parents, attitude and self-reflection.
